3D Printed House Paremoremo | New Zealand | Qorox

The Paremoremo house represents the next evolution in housing, featuring 63 prefabricated 3D-printed concrete panels totaling 360m². Manufactured in Hamilton and installed by our partners QOROX’s expert team, the home was built with Senior Construction completing the remaining work.

Achieving 30% fewer emissions than traditional concrete, the fully 3D-printed home marks a significant step forward in sustainable building. 3D concrete printing technology offers many advantages, including built-in cavities for insulation, plumbing, and wiring, and the ability to apply patterns and designs directly to the walls, reducing additional labour.

The 252m² home, designed by award-winning Dorrington Atcheson Architects for a family of four, blends seamlessly with the site’s natural contours. The 3D-printed concrete walls provide superior thermal mass, creating climate-resilient, comfortable living spaces without compromising R-value or structural strength.
